I have designed a poster or potential front cover for the first volume of my series, Gintovo the Protector. The series focuses on a former Horned Bat clansman (James Wentworth Braxton), who a purgatory demon (Time Redeemer) chooses to become the mighty Gintovo. Gintovo must master his elemental powers and protect the city of Batalanto from vile forces, especially those created by James’ former boss (Dr. Mad). The background's gradient colors represent the struggle of good versus evil.
All characters were digitally inked and colored in Clip Studio Paint. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the typography for the title and the author’s name.

Shigeyuki Kinjo (left) serves as Dr. Mad’s lieutenant in the Horned Bat clan. Argensho (right) became one of Dr. Mad’s unwilling test subjects and a rival for Gintovo.
Gintovo’s mentor, the Time Redeemer (left), wears timepieces and clothing or armor of ancient warriors and leaders. The mad scientist Dr. Riley “Dr. Mad” Madigan (right) heads the Horned Bat clan and a seeming youth outreach program.
